I used the ear AKG products for many years and I always thought them to
be awesome, professional equipment. I spend a lot of time listening to
music, moving today, so I wanted to hit a second pair of EMI deal at a
reasonable price. My primary monitors are Westone UM2, I love almost as
much as air and water. I'm currently saving up for the model from UM3X
Westone. I wanted to hit a couple in the range 100-150 dollars for the
work and development and generally up. I Westone peacful save for
moments like walking and relaxing at the pool. Almost all my app
reading music made on a BlackBerry with the Slacker Radio. I am a big
fan of Radio and Slacker have many friends and relatives, service and
like all set up. I read that some people find the sound quality of The
Slacker marginally to be, but to my ears, it sounds fantastic on the
BlackBerry with Weston, and certainly the AKG K-340's.
The IEM tend to have a full, warm sound and did not hit versus
AKG others that I've collected over the years. I also like the volume
control on cable - very useful at work. I recommend it for everyone,
but an audiophile criticism that it is too heavy bass. While they are
very easy and convenient, they can not compare with the comfort of UM'2
simply disappear into his ear. I imagine it would be difficult to find
his best in this price category.
