Bose Lifestyle V20 Home Theater System

By

when all I wanted was a great surround system that would put an optical cable in order to accept, and do not have a large box sitting under my TV for just that purpose alone. The presentation will be separated from the media unit is awesome. I have an Xbox 360, Comcast Tivo (yes, on TiVo Camcast) and an Apple Mac Mini a 52 "Samsung LCD (1080p) TV, and I just wanted to surround sound. I was not searching a remote night ... No remote with every system really works, does not it? "I always look for a solution for 1-remote. (more of the remote later)

Forget the fact that I paid $ 1700 for the ... I know it would still not pay $ 2,000. I know .... Bose can be expensive if you watch this you are also considering. I would do it again, even without the sale price.

That sounds damn good. He blows himself one of those all in one, see you there for $ 1000 or less. I am sure that some price increases, "everything is in one sound better, but I'm sure it will cost a pretty penny. There's even good bass. Can I have more rumble with the" good "8" or 10 " Subwoofer Yes, if I want, but Rush's Moving Pictures hear sounds perfect! (had to make the bass up to 8 sound that that).

Surround is good, the bass is good, switch TV (video) is good ... Even the remote control is higher than expected.

it came with stands for speakers. But most high-end systems can not see, and what it came with. OK, I can play anything, but stands / mounts are $ 30 (MSRP) each. Found for less than 1 / 2, dass

DISTANCE
Now I was ready to go buy a real universal remote (Logitech Harmony remote controls) or old, but would first try the Bose remote.

While I had a couple of hours, I had to repeat my HDMI cable. Took the Xbox 360 and Comcast, Tivo, their withdrawal from the TV and HDMI connected, he died on the Bose. Bose is now connected to the TV via HDMI. Played with the settings of the distance, and was surprised that no good if it worked exactly as I wanted. I thought that the IR emitters must be carried out .... nope. Please ... Take your time with the settings remotely. There are many codes for your search. Do you hear not one at first, just because the work Power On / Off. Note what worked well and continues in the watch list. I Took a 7 working TV code when the MENU button to set up a menu actually find work. Took me 3 tries to find the correct code for Comcast Tivo. I say to myself, that's why people experience problems with the universal remote control functions (ie, they remain on the 1st code to work). The remote is Frequeny radio control for Bose, IR and for the other components without the IR emitters.

Can anyone help me please?

Having just purchased a Bose Lifestyle V20 Home Theatre System, I cannot get it to talk to my Sky+ system?

In the 'Remote control/Setup section, I only get one code appear for the Sky+ system and this does not work. When I try to access the Sky+ system, the Sky menu picture (if I'm lucky to see this) just freezes?

As I was creating a home theatre system setup, I also purchased a ‘LG Plasma 60PK790’ TV which also needed a setup code and though the TV works OK using ‘90% of the code(s) supplied,’ the code that I select never seems to be correct as the Sky+ still does not get recognised?

Having spent 12+ hours trying the various LG codes suggested with no success ref getting the Sky+ system to work, I'm not sure 'which' is the correct code for this LG 60" TV? I cannot seem to find anywhere ‘on line’ that might be able to give me the correct code for this TV? Once I get this, I can at least hopefully resolve my problem?

Has anyone had similar problems and if so what was the solution? Any help gladly received.

Many thanks

Doug :)
