Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K 7-Channel A/V Receiver
By bonunsa
Let me begin, the facility has been trial and error a few days. I would
also recommend if you are a veteran of the electronic part of
avsforum.com argue that these guys are a great help if you need
questions that are asked. Okay, my review. This thing, if you setup is
amazing. This product is HOT, literally.
My Setup. I have a 50in. HLT5087SAX Samsung DLP TV with LED light
engine. Then I have a Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-Ray Player, Directv HR20 HD
DVR and an Xbox 360 via oldschool Component Cable w / 5.1 DD.
Okay, I have the Blu-ray and go to the DirecTV DVR HDMI receiver.
I have the audio go Directv as an optical digital cable, I met screwup
with HDMI audio is not the change of standard-def audio from Audio HD.
It was when I heard the audio on HD channels but not analog standard
def channels. Thus, the optical cable removed.
Blu-Ray sound is incredible. I hear Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master
Audio. It's phenomenal. I use bitstream audiophile on Blu-ray, so the
uncompressed audio to the primary receiver sends decipher. PCM also
works very well in the 2nd and third Audios (menu button) to hear the
sound, but I prefer the recipient to decryption. So all I have is HDMI
1.3, so that the man watched the Blu-Ray at 24fps, and hear the film is
impressive.
Cool is, and one of the main selling points was the HDMI
upscaling. When you convert a component or analog source devices, which
are granted to HDMI, so you can leave the TV input to HDMI 1 the whole
time and just change the source and receiver on the receiver. My 360
has component 1080p, but I had 360 up to 1080i, because the largest
component of signal receiver Pioneer video scaler will do is 1080i. So,
once I have the 360 that I finally worked. Strange thing is that they
show DVD movies on the 360 and Netflix movies on the 360 will be those
that show 1080p @ 60Hz. Pretty sure that, for games, and Dashboard will
only work with my 1080i installation. This method will tide me over
until I have an Xbox 360 which has HDMI Jasper.
Regarding the fact, I have a 5.1 configuration and the receiver
comes with this microphone that you plug-and-up in the middle of the
room or in your favorite listening position. I did in the middle of the
room on my camera at ear level for movie watching. I let it run for 5-8
minutes with a test tone test and he came back and set each speaker
volume and distance, and also made my speakers so small, with great
sounds from the subwoofer low. At all under his own power. So it's
really the best place to be, self-configuring speakers. This technology
is amazing.
Playing Gears of War 2 Launch turning gold, there are some nice
bass this. He did not put my speakers too loud, but it sets the
subwoofer is quite high, just because it handles all the bass sounds /
tones on the LFE channel.
I have the Batman Begins and Dark Knight comes out on BluRay in
1080p @ 24Hz. The 24fps is! The same thing if they actually film the
movie HiDef film. Moreover, the films play uncompressed audio, Dolby
TrueHD! It is legendary. I also Wrestler and the film is the DTS-HD
Master Audio, and a drama like that, it sounds really good.
Anyway, if you have up to $ 500 a shock new receiver or your
receiver years has been on you after 8 years (like me) you can take the
path of the VSX-1019AH-K happy.
