Sony HTS-S360 5.1 channel Home Theater System
63
As someone who bought my first Blu Ray player I was looking to upgrade
my old Sony surround sound system as well. I tried one or two things to
a new system: one, there was a lot of HDMI inputs and two that there
had been a high sound quality for the price.
What is the most important sound, which is a great system. People
have said, it is to hear how a $ 500-1000. I do not know if it sounds
as though a system of $ 1,000, but I would say it sounds like a
wonderful So for $ 500-700 price, it can not be beaten are. Senior is
very clear and crisp and the bass is deep with depth, without too much
"punch" or become "messy". The only minor problem I have with it is
that if the dialogue becomes stronger from) the center speaker (rarely
up to "jump" and a sound as feedback. This could be the case, even
vibrant, as I could towards the base TV / So was the problem as well.
Out of the box, the system needs a little time to implement (as
well as a system with surround sound speakers, etc.). This system of
clean lines and is identical to the journeyman's Blu Ray player I
bought to go with him they have a black in return should be similar in
size and are similar in size and shape elegant facade together. The
recipient of this unit is about half the height and depth than my old
Sony a while I add more space for other components in my rack.
The son of the speakers are thin and speakers each have their own
connections to enter the receiver, but it sounds so good that I do not
need to replace me, son, it is an open question for me.
Once the system is organized and connected all the speakers there
is a small microphone, you can plug into the back of the device, put it
in what would be the ideal place to hear in the room with the remote
control you can use a sequence of test tones menu, access to
self-enable the device to calibrate itself. This is a nice feature to
start using it, but I was tweaking was necessary to get the best sound
to ... the bass was too strong in dealing with self-calibration.
However, in all other respects, as far as the distance of each speaker
and the volume of each speaker, self-calibration was done very well and
was precise enough in these areas.
Set the camera and the menu of all remote access and uses a type
of connection mode, in which all reach different parameters. You should
see the TV receiver and can be tedious, but it is easier if you're
familiar with the show, as to different areas of the menu. A menu on
the screen would be a great addition for this device are (but of
course) would be the cost.
The HDMI connections for me was great. I have a Blu-ray, cable /
satellite tuner and a 5-upconverter DVD / CD player with HDMI cable,
while for the best performance ... be able to use all 3 of the runs in
the receiver, then a single HDMI cable from the HDTV receiver to reduce
the spaghetti of cables running to and gave me the best performance
possible signal for the whole of my constituents. If you select the
input on your receiver (blu ray, cable, etc.) is what is sent to the
receiver as far as playing the audio signal to the HDTV as well be.
There are however two problems with this set up HDMI. First, you
will not be able to use more than one component at a time. For example,
you can not listen to a CD, while simultaneously displays the video
from your cable or satellite, because you will not be able to choose
more than one entry for a less than the time of the game to run instead
of connecting directly to each other All of the recipient. Then you
could use a CD on the receiver and play video from cable or satellite
receiver directly to TV (bypassing the video games) by the recipient.
The second problem is that audio and video output does not always
work properly with the input select on the receiver. For example, I
noticed that I sometimes have to choose the cable / satellite receiver
and the sound it is, but I get no picture on my HDTV, even if the TV is
set to the correct settings. If I turn in on and off the receiver or
the TV turn itself on and off suddenly Picure only by a miracle.
Another time, I'm going to read a Blu-ray, and I can get the image on
the TV, but the sound they will not be detected or read by the
recipient (although the picture and sound quality over the same HDMI
cable) and I will turn to the receiver is turned on and off switch or
Blu-ray player and for the current sound. I do not understand all the
models, in particular, but it happens often ... Other times it works
without problems. Perhaps this is would not happen if all my hardware
was Sony and all the components "talk" to itself (my other HDTV is not
a trademark of Sony). I always try to try to understand, because it's
boring. I'm always eventually able to get everything together, it could
be a few extra buttons to get there.
Another very important element is the information that this device
is a channel Linear PCM audio will accept. This means that you can read
the Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Lossless Sountracks on Blu-ray,
built-in Blu-ray player SOLANGE with the conversion of these formats
into it. The supporting players Sony (the S360), and many have the
latest treatment methods soundtrack HD in them.

I love Sony products. This sounds like a really good system. I'm torn back and forth between gettind rid of my TC and turning my PC into a media station, getting a beamer or a really good TV with bluray and everything.
